At Rock Solid Golf Company, we’re about enjoying the game and good times with others along with desire for an improved skillset. Last week was a perfect example as we took our Rock Solid Golf Tips series to Ardglass Golf Club with Flinn Morgan, Assistant PGA Professional, before heading to Galgorm Castle for an unforgettable Rock Solid Golf League event.
Rock Solid Golf Tips at Ardglass Golf Club
Ardglass Golf Club is a breathtaking test of golf, boasting stunning views of the Irish Sea, beautifully designed holes, and the historic 15th-century castle clubhouse—the oldest in golf. This iconic links course set the perfect stage for our Rock Solid Golf Tips filming session with the talented Flinn Morgan.
Flinn took us through some game-changing techniques, covering:

Bunker play essentials to handle Ardglass’ deep traps
The session was packed with insights that will benefit golfers of all levels. Whether you’re playing links golf or your local parkland, these tips are designed to sharpen your game and help you play with rock solid confidence. After recording the Rock Solid Golf Tips series, we couldn’t leave without putting our skills to the test. We set up a four-man, six-hole scramble, and with Ardglass’ dramatic coastline as the backdrop, it was an absolute blast. The format encouraged aggressive play, clutch putts, and plenty of laughs. Nice driving from Aaron and clutch putting from Flinn ensured a very respectable score in 40mph+ winds. Be sure to keep an eye on our socials for footage from the six-hole scramble.
With the sun setting over the Irish Sea, we wrapped up an incredible day at Ardglass with a few pints of Guinness at the Ardglass Arms whilst we caught Ireland's Six Nations win against England.

Rock Solid Golf League Event at Galgorm Castle
From the coast of Ardglass, we turned inland and took the Rock Solid Golf League to the stunning Galgorm Castle Golf Club—a premier venue that has hosted the DP World Tour and continues to be a standout destination for golfers across Ireland.
Our event at Galgorm Castle GC was about more than just great golf—it was about bringing people together for a fantastic night of competition, food, and drinks.
We kicked things off in the fabulous Castle Kitchen + Bar where players enjoyed burgers and fries and a pint to set them up for 18 holes around the legendary Old Course at St Andrews using Galgorm's TopTracer technology.
The competition was tight, with some powerful driving and sharp iron play on show. It was the perfect way to blend the strategy of 'real' golf with the fun of a simulator setup, making for an unforgettable night. Gordy Baird walked off with the win after a sensational 77, +5 gross and 53 net, left the field in his wake whilst big hitting Andrew Dillon and laser focused Rob Thompson picked up the longest drive and the closest to the pin prizes respectively.

From links golf at Ardglass to a simulated battle at St. Andrews, this was a week filled with great courses, competitive golf, and a community spirit.
